The food is superb and the service from the staff excellent! The chef personally came out to ask if the food was to our liking. And the staff were very attentive to our needs. The atmosphere is also quiet, and very conducive for talking, which I really appreciated. Highly recommended if you want a delicious meal at reasonable rates, and without the dinner crowds and noise that is typically of restaurants! I personally enjoyed the palak paneer, butter chicken, dahi puri, and fluffy naan. This was my second time coming here, and I'll be back again!

I was very delighted to discover that Zaffron Kitchen has made a comeback, now located at RELC, 30 Orange Grove Road. Our visit on 1 March 2026 was nothing short of memorable, with the food once again capturing the essence of authentic North Indian flavors—perfectly balanced, aromatic, and fresh. • Butter Chicken: Rich, creamy, and indulgent, with tender chicken that simply melted in the mouth. • Dahi Puri: A round, crispy puri shell is gently cracked open on top and generously filled with tangy chutneys and creamy yogurt. As you take a bite, the flavors burst forth—the cool yogurt, the spicy-sweet chutneys, and the crunch of the puri all blending together in a delightful explosion on your palate. • Paneer Tikka: Smoky, well-marinated, and beautifully complemented by refreshing mint chutney. • Bread & Rice: The garlic naan was soft yet crisp at the edges, ideal for scooping up the flavorful curries. • Tandoori Platter Reimagined: Previously a classic, it has now been elevated—served in an earthen pot with fragrant basmati biryani rice and a slow fire at the center. The presentation was captivating, and the rich aroma fascinated my family, making it a standout dish. • Dum Biryani Chicken: As excellent as ever—layered with spices, fragrant, and deeply satisfying. • Tandoori Prawns: Succulent and perfectly grilled, showcasing the finesse of the tandoor. Each dish carried depth without overwhelming the palate, highlighting the skillful use of traditional spices like cardamom, cumin, and cloves. • Ambience & Service: The warm hospitality and attentive service enhanced the dining experience, while the cozy décor created an inviting and authentic atmosphere. Overall: Zaffron Kitchen continues to deliver a memorable culinary journey through Northern India. Highly recommended for anyone craving hearty, flavorful, and comforting Indian cuisine.
