We did a takeaway and had a great time munching away.. Lets dive in! Food: The taste was good.. we ordered a mix and especially loved all of them. The taste would be better with slightly more bonito flakes but since ordered to go, the flakes may have soften into the sauces. Yummy nonetheless!! Service: Staff was on smiles mode but looked tired. Maybe can prep a kiosk to self order Or maybe the ordering process can be via a QR so that staff can focus on preparing food and serve with smiles upon serving. That way customers can get the food faster without having the wait for payment and food.. Well, jz an idea. 🥳 Atmosphere: We do love having a street food becoming an outlet in a restaurant, especially around these streets. Fyi, Hjh maimumah is just opposite and strategically, this is a great place. After mains it was a good move for desserts...but maybe more prominent designs would a better crowd puller. All in all, we loved the takoyaki. And definitely recommending others to try.. do take note of its waiting time yeah. So yeah, cheers!

Eat here if you like cold takoyaki. 😒 Went on on a late afternoon, place was quiet and I'm the only customer. The crew picked out the takoyaki from the ice cream chiller where they are sitting on metal trays and put them into the container. Garnishing n sauces are squirted on top and it was served to me. When I ate it, it's cold.. like leftovers stored in the fridge type of coldness... Was it meant to be served this way ? Knowing from the business owners style of response to less than positive reviews left by other customers, I know the reply may not be polite. But it's my duty to review the truth and to state it to others. P.s even pasar malam takoyaki is more affordable and served warm or hot... Edit to reply to biz owners reply: Thank you for your reply and offer to make good. The chiller photo has been uploaded as part of the review, I felt the glass when the staff was picking the takoyaki, the glass felt cold to the touch so its indeed a food chiller. I'm puzzled as well, isn't takoyaki mean to be served hot or at least warm? In the least the staff could have preheated it before passing me the food? I'm not the kind who will pass food to be acted on again, especially after I have taken a bite out of it with consideration to safe food handling practices required by FnB establishment. But thanks, will request for reheating if I come by next time...

Paid $19 for a premium box of 10 chuka idako. was disappointing. i have tried many takoyaki ball throughout Japan even pasar malam one taste better than this shop first i think they deep fried the takoyaki balls instead of grill them on a takoyaki griller. every balls are oily. 2ndly their sauce doesn't taste like traditional takoyaki sauce. thirdly how can takoyaki balls come without bonito flakes. gave it 2stars because of the whole chuka on each balls.
