Honest Reviews OnlyWent there for lunch this Saturday afternoon. They had a collectible Kuromi plate giveaway with a minimum $30 spend that caught my daughter’s eye, so we agreed to eat here. I haven’t had Yoshinoya in Singapore for many years because I remembered it being really bad, with the taste and quality of the food being worlds apart from the outlets in Japan. Unfortunately, this visit was exactly how I remembered it from years ago. They serve very low-quality Japanese rice bowls. My daughter had a side of chicken karaage, which was quite bad. The 3 pieces of chicken were not crispy at all, soggy, and tough. The only saving graces are that the food is served very quickly, and the outlet itself was clean and bright. Overall, it’s a pretty bad meal, and we only ate here because of the Kuromi giveaway.
OrangeFood is average. Quick meal at a net price. Salmon and chicken tasted frozen. Best item beef and curry is good enough
Crumpled NomadA no-frills typical Japanese gyudon place in Singapore. The restaurant was rather small and very simply decorated. Tables are close together as a result of the small space. The taste is similar to most Yoshinoya outlets here or overseas. The ordering process is simple, using self-ordering machines located at the entrance to the restaurant. Prices seems to be higher in Singapore though. Other than that, a very comforting meal.
