I ordered the Double Beef Ontama Gyudon and the Tei Beef & Teriyaki Salmon at Yoshinoya Millenia Walk. Ordering is done entirely via the self-service kiosk, which is the only option available. There weren’t many customers, so the food "came out" quickly. Unfortunately, the quality was a letdown. The dishes lacked freshness and overall felt below the usual standard I expect from Yoshinoya. Convenient location and fast service, but food quality needs improvement to match the brand. Update to query: Double Beef Ontama Gyudon
Yoshinoya’s management, please hire more staff for this outlet. Came here on a Saturday on 16/05/2026 and this poor lady was working alone at this outlet - managing food output and clearing of tables simultaneously. Outlet is very poorly maintained because of the lack of staff and one person maintaining is outlet on a weekend is very unacceptable. The standard of the food reflects the state of this outlet. This review is not directed at the staff because she is clearly overworked and overwhelmed. She is unable to keep up with producing food, clearing tables/tray return, and washing of all the dishes.
Had a terrible experience at this particular outlet. My partner wanted to try the grain bowls due to the adverts, so we had dinner here. I just took the usual beef bowl. Usually for fast food, the standard is quite consistent. This was not the case. The rice was hard. The standard of hygiene here also kinda killed my appetite a little... the kitchen staff's ungloved finger touched a piece of the beef while he was handling the bowl. The chicken yakitori was awful.. very chickeny tasting and dry. Even my partner who's less picky commented that it was bad. The ajitama egg wasn't cut (but i can't recall if it usually is at the other outlets?). In fact, the only thing nice from the whole meal was the ajitama egg. Oh. And there weren't any utensils in the trays when we collected our order. They also stopped taking orders at 8:37pm (they close at 9:30). I heard the staff tell the customers that came in then that they ran out of rice.... As for the reply to whether the hard rice was in the grain bowl or beef bowl.... it was from the beef bowl.
