  Have visited Cafe Melba Goodman a few times and the food has been consistently good, The fried chicken was very nice, well-seasoned and my kid really enjoys it every time. Tried the pasta as well, it was fragrant and full of flavour, not bland at all. Portion was decent too. The environment is comfortable and suitable for families, especially with kids. Overall a reliable place for a casual meal, will definitely come back again.

  I was here as a family with a 3yo & an infant. We were here after our activities at Goodman art center. We were seated outdoor with reservation on a weekend lunch. The first impression is that this place is extremely under staff. From what we see, there’s only 2 serving staff on the ground (for both indoor & outdoor). The staffs however are trying very hard to keep up the service, however it’s lagging due to headcount. Kudos to them. 1. The chairs outdoor… oh my goodness are littered with bird droppings. They are extremely disgusting & unhygienic. It affected me about the cleanliness for kids. 2. The food came all at once after 25-30min wait. However I ordered a starter, came with the mains too. And you can tell sweet potato fries were left out waiting for the mains as it’s cold & lost the texture). 3. I ordered C.A.T. Sandwich. I was really surprised the toast was burnt & the avocado in it was really bad! It’s honestly the worst smashed avocado sandwich I ever came across. The quantity exceeded my expectations, however the quality is so unpleasant that I wish there’s less of it! 4. My husband ordered the chicken katsu burger & he was looking forward to it because he had it before at the other outlet. However he said that this time it’s such a disappointment & the only good part of it was the buttered bun. 5. The cups for drinking are not maintained at all with tons of residues & chips. We are really saddened because we really enjoyed the outdoor experience here. However everything else is really creeping me out.

  Big thank you to the team for making my daughter’s birthday celebration such a success today! Guests loved the food and kids-friendly environment. Mushroom soup and pizza were a huge hit, Caesar salad was fresh and crisp, and the roasted pork was great! To the always-smiling Sufyan, a lovely and helpful gentleman who helped with the event planning and great food recommendations. Even assisted us with the additional bouncy castles we brought for our guests whenever required in view of the weather. To the rest of the front and back of house team, thank you for being attentive, hospitable and on point with the food. Highly recommend this venue. Good food, superb service, kids-friendly, and value-for-money. I’d only recommend more fans or air-circulation when guests are seated in front of the kitchen, as it can get too warm.
