I visited the Hangyodon Pop-Up Café mainly for the experience, and it delivered exactly that — the food itself was decent but not the main draw (around 3/5 for taste), with dishes being more cute than memorable, while the ambience and setting easily scored a 4/5 thanks to the adorable Hangyodon-themed décor, tableware, and playful presentation that made everything feel photo-worthy. The chilled ramen and mains were fun to try once, portions were reasonable, and the collectible elements added to the charm, but this is definitely a place you go for the vibes, nostalgia, and Instagram moments rather than standout flavours. Perfect for fans of Sanrio and themed cafés, especially if you’re there to soak in the atmosphere and snap some cute photos rather than expecting a food-focused experience.

came here when it was cinnamoroll themed. the themed food was cute but i gave it a pass since i didn't find it worth the money. they have various themes throughout the year and it changes quite often! their beef noodles were pretty decent. chewy noodles and tasty broth but could be more generous with the protein portions. the sweet potato fries with the plum powder was delicious. quite authentically taiwanese with the hotplate options so it's great that my muslim friends can dine here as well. space is a bit limited so either make reservations or avoid peak dining times. love that there are 5L bubble tea / matcha for sharing as well.

Went for the Hangyodon pop-up and honestly, it was underwhelming overall. The food was mostly meh and definitely overpriced for the quality. They also seemed short-handed, so service was slow and a bit unorganised. The only standout was the scallion dry noodle with braised beef, which was actually pretty good and the only dish I genuinely enjoyed. Special mention (and not in a good way): the Swiss roll bubble gum flavor was awful. After one bite, I honestly felt like I was going to puke. The main appeal here is really just the Hangyodon theme. If you’re a hardcore fan, you might enjoy it for the experience but otherwise, it’s not really worth going for the food.
