On 12 November, I placed an order for Prawn Egg Fried Rice, but due to a kiosk malfunction, my order did not go through even though my VISA payment was deducted. After checking, Yong Jun patiently explained that earlier orders had not been captured by the system, and even advised me to place the order again. Unfortunately, the same issue happened a second time, and I was charged twice. Despite the situation, Yong Jun remained calm, polite, and very patient. Noticing that I had already waited 30 mins, he proactively offered to prepare my meal first so I did not have to continue waiting unnecessarily. His professionalism and helpful attitude made a stressful situation much easier to handle. Thank you, Yong Jun, for your responsible and attentive service! Compliment for Mina – Wok Hey Customer Service I would also like to compliment Mina from Customer Service. After the incident, I contacted Wok Hey via WhatsApp, and Mina reached out to me promptly. She clearly explained the situation regarding the kiosk malfunction and followed up on the double payment issue. Mina continued to monitor my case and personally checked again the next day to confirm the double charge on my credit card. She then arranged the refund and offered a complimentary meal as compensation for the inconvenience and the long waiting time I experienced. Peace-loving CatI enjoy their Shanghai fried rice (saltier rice like this and claypot rice appeals to me) and being able to top it up with 2 of my preferred veggies. The ordering and collection experience was convenient and pleasant too (eg. was notified on What'sapp when my order was ready, staff who was cooking just needed to see my digital receipt before I collected my order).
Chucky PehTried the egg fried rice with seasoned prawns. Surprisingly it was good, and tasty. The eggs and rice blend together nicely, and the short grain gives it a nice texture. The prawns are fresh and the overall experience was good. Will be back to try other options!
