The ambience and food here are both excellent. They also provide baby chairs for young children, making the place very family-friendly and convenient. I’ve visited twice, and the food quality and portion sizes were consistently good on both occasions. The prices are reasonable, and their hot beverages are very affordable as well. I also really appreciate their highly customisable ordering system. You can choose which side dishes you do or do not want, and even select the doneness of the eggs. This is especially helpful for families with young children, as there is an option to have the eggs fully cooked. Another plus point is that there is a bus stop located directly in front of the restaurant/cafe, making it very accessible. Chicken Chop Rice – Delicious and not spicy, making it suitable for children. The rice and chicken portions were generous, and the meal was very filling overall. Chicken Chop Hainanese Style – Slightly spicy but very flavourful. The fries were crispy, and the garlic bread was light and crunchy. Cheese Fries – The cheese portion was very generous, and the fries remained crispy even though they were fully covered in cheese. Mushroom Pepper Chicken Chop – My favourite dish there. The sauce was flavourful without being too thick, and the chicken chop was tender. The coleslaw and baked beans were also very tasty.
Went at 5pm, crowd was okay, but slowly building up. Food was served fast, but food wasn't served hot enough. Fried chicken not tender. Room for improvement. Portion is reasonbly well. Nice and comfy environment.
Newly opened Western food spot along East Coast Road. The place looks very attractive from the outside — the “$9.90 Old School Western” signboard really catches your attention. There are also arcade machines at the entrance, which is a nice and fun concept, although they weren’t turned on when we visited. The shop also mentions 24 hours, but we were told they are not fully operating round-the-clock yet. We decided to give it a try, but overall experience was mixed. Food was average — not bad, but nothing particularly memorable. Pricing felt slightly on the higher side for what was served. Out of the four of us, three mentioned they wouldn’t return. Personally, I might give them another chance since they’ve just opened and may still be stabilising. Overall, the concept and appearance are appealing, but the food and value could be improved. Still worth trying once to see if it suits your taste.
