Due to my elderly parents and my work commitments, we searched high and low for Ramadhan Tingkat and stumbled upon Warung Selera, upon mention by a friend. My verdict? OMG! You really should give it a try! They manage to capture the essence of each and every one of their dish! Their 'Sotong Masak Hitam' is amongst the best that I have tasted! Service wise, since ours is home delivery, is exceptional too! They NEVER missed a beat even though I am certain their orders are a LOT. Come the time, my Mum will have her food at the gate. Well done Warung Selera! Really well done! Thank YOU for the great food! :) (and nope! Not sponsored or anythg! Just a very grateful customer)

My office is right next to *Kak Ani Warung Selera*, so it's always been convenient for me to settle lunch here. The food aroma is inviting every time I walk past — from the bus stop to the office. I often crave their mihun, and I must say, the food usually satisfies me. *However, the attitude and inconsistent pricing are a major letdown.* For example (3 pictures attached): - Mihun with a fried egg cost me *$5*. - Mihun with *just petai* was quoted at *$6*, which shocked me. I still paid, but my colleague encouraged me to ask why a single veg item could be that expensive. The lady then told me, “Oh, it should be $4,” and tried to return *only $1* instead of $2. When I questioned it, she said, “It should be $5.” So in a span of seconds, the price changed *three times* — that’s quite unbelievable. - Another time, I ordered mihun with a *fried chicken wing*, and she charged me *$7* (3 for mihun + $4 for the wing). Again, I was stunned but paid anyway. It’s always the *same lady* serving me — she’s *not the boss* — and this inconsistent pricing happens too often. Honestly, it makes me feel like there might be *prejudice against non-Malay customers*, as the prices seem to vary unfairly. The food is good, but the poor service and lack of pricing transparency are very disappointing.
