Lan Kovan**An Exceptional Authentic Indonesian Dining Experience!** I recently had the pleasure of dining at **Warung Leko**, and it was truly a fantastic experience from start to finish. If you are looking for great tasting, authentic Indonesian cuisine, this is absolutely the place to go. Every dish we tried was spectacular, but a few standouts really made the meal memorable: * **Beef Ribs Soup:** Rich, comforting, and packed with incredible, authentic flavor. * **Smashed Fried Mushroom:** Perfectly crispy and absolutely addictive. * **Tahu Telur:** A classic done flawlessly, along with many other mouth-watering dishes on their menu! Beyond the amazing food, the restaurant offers a very comfortable seating area and a wonderfully warm ambiance, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal with family or friends. What truly sets Warung Leko apart, however, is the service. The staff were absolutely fantastic—courteous, polite, and attentive throughout our visit. We were incredibly touched when they showed their gratitude by personally escorting us to the door as we left the restaurant. That level of genuine hospitality is rare and highly appreciated. henry chiuWas about to walk away from this gem when the boss came out and greeted us. It was the greatest decision to eat in this restaurant. Their food is super authentic. The chilli is great. The beef are super tender be it smashed or in soup. The squid is well grilled to perfection. The egg and tofu with the peanut sauce is a perfect harmonious mix when I put in my mouth. Definitely will come back again for the food. It will be better with a bigger crowd to share everything.
DPOrdered their legendary Smashed Beef Ribs (Iga Penyet) with Belacan Chilli, and also their recommended side dish Tahu Telur. And we also ordered Smashed Duck (Bebek Penyet) with Sambal Korek. The Smashed Beef Ribs was very good, it’s fork tender, fall of the bone, and well marinated. The Belacan Chilli was nice too. Smashed Duck was good and meat was tender. The Sambal Korek was spicy and good. Goes well with the duck. Tahu Telur was delicious. It’s just a simple omelette with tofu inside but it’s comforting, and really goes well with the rich peanut sauce. Overall it’s a nice experience. Decent portion, and price was reasonable. Recommended place for authentic Indonesian food in Bugis area. Service was good, staff were accommodating, owner was friendly and speaking indonesian to customers.
