Had the worst duck rice (Hua Zai HK style roasted delight) in this coffee shop. Will never ever patronise this food stall anymore. I ordered a “Dang Gui Roasted Duck” rice. They served plain rice, roasted duck with bones and 3 slices of cucumber. Let me comment on each of the components. The texture of the roasted duck was tough and dry despite having the sauce drizzle on the duck. I have no comments on the rice as it’s just plain rice and there’s no fragrance. The cucumber doesn’t taste fresh and juicy. You will observe housefly flying around the counter area and the enclosed food. Personally hygiene doesn’t seem to be up to standard.

A popular coffee shop with residents as the tze char stall , the anchor stall serves good priced dishes. There are other good items like the fish soup , kuay chap , western food , mix vegetable rice, roast pork /chicken rice, n dimsum stalls . So one can surely find something to fill the hungry tummy after work , as one is too tired to think what to cook . The ice coffee is a must try if one craves for a strong sweet drink . The coffee shop also offers special set breakfast at a good price.

Tried the white carrot cake, fried oyster (both original and tang shan versions) and beansprouts with cockles here and they were really good! Very friendly stall owners who just moved here from Serangoon Gardens a month back. Will definitely come back for more!! 😋 Update: 4th time visiting and ordered the two versions of fried oyster again! Good standard as always and friendly stall owners (: chilli is nice as well.
