Had an excellent meal at VietSmith. The food was delicious, flavourful and beautifully presented. We especially enjoyed the Vietnamese-style dishes which were packed with authentic flavours and prepared with fresh ingredients. Every dish was satisfying, from the crispy spring rolls to the perfectly seasoned mains. The service was attentive, and the overall dining experience was wonderful. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality Vietnamese cuisine. Will definitely be back again!

A group of 5 of us came here around 230pm to celebrate a colleague's post birthday and restaurant had only 1 table that was occupied. I sure enjoy the quietness to dine at this time. When we entered, we were ushered to a combined tables of 3 which had a mixture of booth and chair seats. There were physical and scanned QR code menu. Menu was quite extensive so most probably all can find something to eat unless you dont take fancy of Vietnamese food. I think weekdays they have a set for 2 lunch deal which seemed pretty good. It didnt take us long to decide: 1. Bahn Mi with chicken - chicken was tender - baguette was crusty - generous with filling: picked vegetables & chicken - however seemed to taste quite a fair of different flavours of sauce which didnt taste authentic 2. Prawns Spring Roll - fresh prawns - had lettuce and spring onions - absence of basil leaves, mint leaves which I couldnt taste - it was still refreshing though with a peanut hosin dipping sauce 3. Waygu Pho (x3) - colleagues shared that beef slices were thinking that it almost "melts" in the mouth which makes it smooth and easy to eat - no comments about broth 4. Poached Shredded Chicken Homemade Chicken Meatballs - no comments from colleague 5. Savoury Prawn Pancakes - came out with good presentation and pancakes were cute - bigger mouth can pop all in - wasnt sure to eat it whole with the prawn tail shell or remove the shell before eating. I think for convenience, restaurant can remove the shell but for presentation, keep it makes wholesomeness. - coconuty taste strong enough to taste but wasnt too overpowering. - it is a light bite to have before main and good to share as maybe after too much, may feel cloggy due to coconut. It came with a dipping sweet chilli sauce Bill was split among 5 pax so per pax around $30+

very friendly and accommodating staff. food was good and well portioned. bahn mi bread was very very good; crunchy outer crust and soft fluffy light bread inside. the star was the drip coffee; fragrant and strong.
