  As a vegetarian, VeganBurg has been on my to-try list for a long time. During this recent trip to Singapore, I finally had some spare time and decided to drop by and give it a try. The atmosphere of the place is cosy and comfortable. However, parking around the area could use clearer instructions. As a tourist, I was a little worried about getting a summon while parking in front of the premises, and I imagine the fine wouldn’t be cheap. There are plenty of burger choices on the menu. One thing I would really like to compliment is the staff member who served us. Despite it being her fasting month, she still demonstrated great professionalism and remained friendly and attentive throughout. We ordered the Chili Krab Burger, Avo Beats Burger, and the Hainanese Chickenless Burger, all as set meals. Each set came with seaweed fries and broccoli as side dishes. For beverages, we had cranberry lemonade, tropical bliss, and ginger lemonade. All the burgers and side dishes were quite good — flavorful but not overly salty or oily. The drinks were also well balanced and not overly sweet, which made the meal even more enjoyable.

  I’ll be honest — I’m not vegan at all, and I usually gravitate straight towards meat-based burgers without much hesitation. But VeganBurg genuinely surprised me in the best way possible. As a meat lover, I didn’t expect much going in, but the burgers here really did not disappoint. The patty was flavourful, well-seasoned, and satisfying enough that I honestly didn’t miss meat while eating it. The texture was solid, the bun held up well, and everything came together nicely instead of feeling like a “healthy substitute” kind of meal. We were also pretty skeptical about the fries at first because they didn’t look anything special, but wow — that was a huge mistake on our part. The fries turned out to be really good, way better than they look. They were super creamy, and the garlic truffle flavour came through clearly in every bite. Not overpowering, not artificial — just rich and addictive. We kept reaching for more without realising it. Overall, this place completely changed my perception of vegan burgers. Even if you’re someone who loves meat and thinks vegan food won’t hit the spot, I’d still recommend giving VeganBurg a try. It’s the kind of place I wouldn’t think twice about coming back to, vegan or not. Rating: 8.5/10 Definitely worth a visit 👍
