3/5 ⭐️ for the food 5/5 ⭐️ atmosphere We got the famous cheese boat, with breadsticks, and mushroom soup. i LOVE cheese, but wow the cheese boat was quite underwhelming. Unfortunately, i am a victim of marketing 🙂↕️ You have to eat it while its almost piping hot, otherwise even after like 10 mins, the cheese cools, and it’s really hard to eat. It takes like really to chew one bite, and if you don’t chew it fully, you may choke on the cheese (i did)… Mushroom soup is water consistency and very plain tasting. Having worked at a western restaurant that has pre-heated mushroom soup as well, my guess is that it’s overheated or water is added. But, atmosphere is really nice! Was there at 2pm+ on a public holiday, and there was only one other table. Price is reasonable too! I would probably not visit again though.
The pictures on the menu showed such promise but the end result was not very pleasing and the taste was average. I would not recommend this place and it’s expensive and portions for the sides are small.
I discovered this halal pizza restaurant at Funan and decided to give it a try. My first impression was good as the restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, and the staff are friendly. They offer a wide variety of pizzas, so I went with the chicken pepperoni and also ordered a few side dishes. The pizza was loaded with cheese, and the side dishes were packed with flavor. Overall, I was really happy with the taste. If you plan to visit the store, I recommend arriving early as the place tends to get crowded on weekends in the evening. I’ll definitely be back to try the cheese boat pizza next time!
