I visited on 27 April at around 8am. The food quality is still acceptable, but unfortunately the service experience was very disappointing. There were only two staff on duty (one female, one male), and the female staff’s attitude was particularly poor. Her tone when asking “what you want” came across as rude and confrontational, making the interaction uncomfortable from the start I had clearly requested no green vegetables, but my order was served with them anyway. When I pointed out the mistake, there was no apology or acknowledgment. Service attitude matters just as much as food quality. If someone is not prepared to serve customers professionally, it may be worth reconsidering the role. Experiences like this will inevitably affect the business, and unfortunately, you’ve lost another customer.
I bought one set to share with my kid.I ask them to separate the curry sauce because small kid don't want to eat curry.they reply me they charge add $0.5 to separate the curry sauce. I ask a small bowl and they also need to charge add $0.5. I guess nothing is free. But I'm wrong and there is free plastic in the soup. I strongly recommend this stall for all the plastic soup lover
Visit date: 27 Dec 2025 Actual rating: 4.0 Ordered their lontong to try... First impression: slightly spicy but sweet and savoury curry; not lemak though. There's a large piece of taukwa; 4 halves of ketupat (aka compressed boiled rice cake); one hard boiled egg; plenty of soft cabbage; some slices of carrot and a fair amount of long beans 👍 That's a lot to eat for just a $4.50 spend! 😆 Was so yummy that I drank almost all the curry 😋 What a filling meal! But #MHTamChiak would rather they cut down on rice and give more taukwa, actually 😀
