Alex LimWe are actually super fans of uncle penyet. My wife loves it and must eat it many times a month. However, the standard dropped drastically over the last month or so. The chicken is hard and rubbery, totally cannot be chewed through. This was not the first time we have encountered this. If you have a new cook, please do something about it before it totally ruin your business. It is just ridiculously hard and dry. Like cured meat or refried meat.
T.S SohI used to buy curry chicken from the store in Jurong West, today pass by and want to try the Ayam penyet so I bought two packs of it end up both pack of the fries chicken seem like been fried many time the whole chicken drumsticks totally become hard and like been overnight and fried again. I don’t think will buy from them again. Paying $23.00 for two packages of Ayam Penyet one package of Mee Goreng and curry chicken end up only curry chicken and mee gores can eat.
Sandie YapBought curry chicken to take away, the staff never put the bowl inside the plastic properly so when she lifted up the plastic, the bowl fell on one side. I told the staff to put the bowl properly. Had wanted to pay via CDC voucher, the handphone has no battery. Last minute then charged and expecting me to wait. I told the staff forget it and I paid via cash. I really dunno how they can do business in this manner. 😕 Curry taste quality still maintain but then it was not even warm.
