Had a fantastic lunch experience trying out the limited-time menu at Twyst (Raffles Place MRT). The Butter Tandoori Pasta is excellent—very flavorful, creamy, and packed with a generous amount of chicken. If you can't make it to the CBD, glad to know this particular pasta is actually available islandwide! However, if you are at the Raffles Place outlet, you definitely want to check out their exclusive Toasted Sandwich Stacks which are only available here for a short time. They are perfect for a fast grab-and-go lunch or to take away for a hassle-free dinner later. Service was efficient, the food came out hot, and it’s a great addition to the daily lunch rotation. Will definitely be back!
First time here. The food taste just average. A bit pricey for the small portion served. The mushroom soup was very diluted. Only the fried chicken mid wings was delicious and memorable. The air-conditioning is like not working at all. The whole restaurant is very warm and the air is filled with fried food smell. The smell sticks to our clothes when we exited. A very disappointed dining experience.
It is often packed with office people working in Raffles Place. They have the build your pasta options as well as their signatures. They often launch limited edition pasta. I have always liked their pastas and tried their tomato pomodoro which comes with spinach, chicken and cherry tomatoes. Some colleagues like their aglio olio, smoked duck pasta, and creamy Alfredo. However, their pasta is on the oilier side and when I tried their miso butter smoked duck pasta, I knew it was a really bad choice. The whole bowl was drenched in butter and oil, and they were pretty stingy on the toppings like spinach. I could barely see much vegetables in the pasta. For 11.90 and a 30-45mins wait, it is definitely not one of my top choices for lunch on a typical weekday.
