Visited on 3rd April 2026 with 2 of my friends. The food was okay. We all ordered the beef boat noodles. The beef had a bit of a gamey smell and wasn’t particularly tender. Broth was fine and noodles were a bit soft. The water spinach was fine as well. The Thai oat milk tea wasn’t super sweet and tasted fine too. The Thai green milk tea was slightly fragrant with a jasmine green tea smell similar to pokka’s. I added on the boba pearls, but they weren’t chewy at all. They were severely overcooked and had an agar agar texture. The food was served quickly. Didn’t have any other experience with service as payment and ordering was online. The atmosphere was fine, just like normal restaurant at a mall. We went at 1-2pm on a Friday and there was no wait for a seat. When we sat at the back of the restaurant with the booth seats, there were many cockroach droppings and limbs all over the table. There were also 2 small cockroaches running rapidly along the base of the booth seats. A cockroach can be seen in the photo provided.
ordered the treasures set with chicken as it was always very hot and flavourful when i ate it a few months back. however, came today on 16 june at around 5pm and the egg and minced meat was not warm at all, it was also extra oily and my rice was drenched in oil. this never happened when i ate previously at the same outlet few months ago.
I am writing in with regard to the disappointing and poor customer service rendered by your manager, Carmen at Compass One outlet today, 24 February 26. I had visited the outlet with the intention to redeem the Birthday treat, Petite Toast for my mum. Carmen was in the midst of tallying the cash in the cash register and left me standing waiting for quite some time. Thereafter, she proceeded to take my order and referred me to self-service kiosk to check the flavours myself. She made no effort to introduce the flavours available in the menu. During the process of redemption, Carmen insisted she needed to scan the full barcode to validate the voucher. I did not know where to access the full barcode and she said she did not know as well. She mentioned “I also don’t know?!” repeatedly. She left me to search and explore myself. After a while, even though I managed to access the member portal, the voucher was not in the rewards section as well. Carmen then insisted that I had to contact the office to find out why the barcode sent to me via WhatsApp was not in full. Carmen took no initiative to assist me to resolve the technical issue at this point in time. Very rude and unhelpful! I was very upset and told her this birthday message voucher was sent to me by the company and insisted Carmen should be the one to find out the reason behind the technical issue and find a way to redeem the voucher. Carmen then reluctantly made a call and found out from the other party that it was the POS company that made a technical error. As a manager of an outlet, Carmen should lead with example and show empathy when encountering customers that faced technical issues and guide customers to resolve it patiently. She should not have pushed the problem to the customer, expecting customers to feedback to the company themselves. Please train Carmen on expectations of customer service! Her lack of sincerity and poor attitude shows that she didn’t want to issue the birthday treat to the customer. At 9.12pm, all the lights in the outlet were switched off promptly even though there were customers, including myself still dining in. Is Tuk Tuk Cha trying to chase customers away, even though the closing time is 10pm? Very ridiculous and rude! I had submitted a complaint through your website as well. I urge Tuk Tuk Cha to conduct an internal investigation on Carmen and await a response from Tuk Tuk Cha regarding my feedback.
