Yesterday, I was really struggling to pump air into my bicycle tyre at the air pump at Esso. However, after seeing me struggle for quite some time, Mr Supardi, the service attendant on duty, came over and helped me to fill the tyres. His kindness is really appreciated. Thank you Mr Supardi!
I rarely visit this Esso petrol station due to consistently poor service, and unfortunately, my experience today reaffirmed this. The attendant was standing around, not offering to help with pumping petrol, nor did they greet or acknowledge customers. He simply stood there, seemingly focused on a motorcycle, without attending to anyone. On a previous visit, I had to deal with an attendant who explicitly told us to pump the petrol ourselves when my car is not even parked at the self-service pump, which prompted me to file a complaint with Esso at the time. Despite this, there has been no improvement in service quality. This is in stark contrast to other Esso outlets, where staff are consistently friendly and helpful. I highly recommend avoiding this particular location.
There's a 50% chance that the air pump is down. I've had my tyres deflated here twice because the pump was defective, and I had to ride my motorcycle to the CCK Shell to solve that problem. Pump at your own risk. 👎👎
