banana manI like coming here to get gas. The staff here are super helpful. They'll come right up to you automatically, and the cashier is awesome too. After they scan your QR code, they'll check for any reward vouchers in the app before you pay. (Compared to my last experience along Bukit Timah, I showed my Esso QR code and she just went ahead with the payment. So I asked if vouchers were used, and she said she wasn't aware I wanted to use a voucher. 😬. Next thing I knew, she handed me the receipt. I've been to a few other outlets and never had a cashier say something like that; they always check or ask if you want to use your reward vouchers.)

Coming up with his own rules of refusing to give the trust card users the PIN number for redemption when every other Esso that I have visited had asked me to key the PIN number myself. In this day and age where everything is contactless, what the hell is he doing meddling with other people’s handphone? When I told him that, his reply to me was “Nevermind”. Nevermind what? If he does not know his job well, he should be given a refresher’s course!!!
