I want to make a complain about 1 of the pump attendant working at 40 Tampines Ave 9. His attitude is very bad. I walked over to greet him nicely, and want to let him know how much petrol i want to get it done. But instead of replying in a good manners, he didnt even turn his face towards me, and only use his hand and his palm to gesture a WAIT SIGN to me. Which i deem this is very bad and rude for any service! I had also feedback in person to the muslim sister at the counter. She even mentioned to me, this attendant is not his 1st time getting complain about him. So meaning, Esso have a staff whom have a bad service attitude but yet not doing anything about it? And let him continue tanish Esso's image? Hope something can be or will be done.
Had an unpleasant experience. The pump provided was already malfunctioning — the handle was stuck in the pressed-down position. When I removed it, the pressure released and caused a mess. Despite this clearly being a faulty pump, staff blamed me and made me pay full price. No accountability, no understanding , not even a discounted price . I paid for something i did not do , and did not even manage to pump my bike. Bad customer service , bad management , staffs even blamed me for misuse when i had no issues of pumping before this . 0 out of 10 esso , never coming here again .
Good job to Cnergy for disrupting Singapore’s retail fuel market. Their pricing has forced the mainstream fuel operators to level the playing field. These days, when you add up station discounts, vouchers, credit card instant discounts, and rebates, fuel from mainstream operators is often only slightly more expensive than Cnergy. In some cases, it can even be cheaper. The mainstream operators also have a major advantage: they have a much larger network of gas stations spread across Singapore, which makes them more convenient for most drivers. So yes, Cnergy has done well by creating price pressure in the market, but with the right discount stack, the traditional fuel brands can still remain very competitive.
