Irene LeRecently rebranded as Toast & Roll at Novena, this place is my go-to bakery in the area. It has a wide variety of sweets and savoury bakes (as well as a waffle station), catering to the preferences of the office crowd and younger gen. Prices are comparable with other bakeries in the area, and they also use more premium ingredients. So far I’ve enjoyed all of their bakes, especially their classic shio pan which is definitely underrated! Soft and buttery with just the right amount of salt, definitely worth a try if you’re a shio pan fan. Was told by their staff that fresh bakes get delivered at 10am daily, so do plan your visit if you want to get the freshest batch of bakes.
Julius TanAlso by Swee Heng, this bakery is a lot better than crolo and I feel better than Swee Heng itself. A lot of unique bread and pastries. Baked honey cheese is delicious, the danish and the mushroom bun are good too.
Ars 3276Walked past 3-4x before and always felt the presentation of the bread are lovely. All looks so good and delicious. Finally bought 1 today to try and it was good. Will be back to try others
