  Went with low expectations given the recent mixed reviews on Google. Also the word Al dente had us spooked, since our tryst with Al dente cooked pastas hadnt gone so well in the past. We ordered a Feta dip and a Cherry tomato olive oil dip. It was served with Focaccia. The Feta dip was lovely. Mildly sweet with a dash of honey and the tomatoes in it were yummy. Conflicted on how many pastas to order - given the Kampong glam Ramadan Bazaar was nearby and we wanted to go check it out later, we decided to go with 2 pastas. One pink sauce orecchiette and a pesto mafaldine. Chose a different set of toppings for both.. It was luvvvly for want of a better word. Both the sauces were brilliant, and the pasta was cooked well. The pasta dominated the taste and the toppings complemented nicely ( which is how it should be) Service was okayish, and ambience was decent. There wasn't much of a crowd, patrons were scattered around so good place to have a chat or a catch-up !

  The cafe has a cosy vibe to it but unfortunately there was no air-conditioning which made the experience a bit mellow. Coming to food, the mushroom pasta was really good and we loved it! The pesto gnocchi was very salty. When I told the staff about it, they simply said it's meant to be this way. They weren't rude but this is poor customer service, a lack of empathy. We will not be coming back here.

  Hidden spot with rustic artsy vibes but afraid that service can be way better. For one, there were so many food options out of availability. Second, service crew were pretty rude and curt, like a leave it or take it kind of attitude. Only 1 amongst bothered to provide basic good sense of hospitality. We were told at that moment to leave as there are guests for next reservation, instead of a 15mins grace to prep. Pasta was cooked aldente but dressing drenched with overwhelm saltiness. There were not many others to choose from as pizza were out that day. Disappointment overall for a Friday dinner place.
