Case WooMy first time trying Thunder Tea Rice and I’m surprised that it’s pretty good. I got the non-vegetarian small but the serving is generous. I’m also surprised that their brown rice is so nicely cooked that it taste just like regular rice. Added a small piece of Basil Omelette and a Hakka Bean Tofu on the side. The Chicken Patty is decent. But the Fried Fish Fillet is horribly rubbery and hard. What happened here? Not good. Also the very little amount of Thunder Tea given is concentrated, so have to add hot water to get your bowl of tea. Shiok. Tried their sambal squid dish today. Too salty.
Ryan BlumkeThe thunder rice is an amazing deal and absolutely delicious. This is only a takeaway place, so do not expect to sit down. It took about ten minutes to get some amazing fresh cooked food, and it was well worth the price. Very refreshing. I highly suggest adding chicken.
b.Very generous with their portion and one of the best lei cha i’ve had so far! I bought the bundle set of lei cha with basil chicken (requested without rice) and topped up $2 for extra vegetables and the amount they gave was HUGE for $2 in the brown box!! Would definitely patronize again!
