MarilynCWe visited this dessert cafe again and ordered their maple waffle with two scoops of ice cream. The waffle was nicely crusty without being too hard, which we really enjoyed. It had a good texture and paired well with the ice cream. We chose pistachio and vanilla flavours, but unfortunately both were much sweeter than we remembered. Compared to our experience during the COVID period, the ice cream now tastes noticeably sweeter and less balanced, which wasn’t quite to our liking. Overall, the waffle was a highlight, but we hope the ice cream flavours can return to their earlier, more refined taste.
LolThis cafe damn vibes eh and they sell ice cream which you can buy with CDC vouchers!! Their ice cream also never tastes freezer burnt but I’m still waiting for my Thai Iced Tea to come back though :( My favourite flavour would have to be pistachio but their mango sago pomelo (sorbet) would be a close second. Their waffles are good too! And hella affordable because like one waffle (which they cut up for you) and 2 ice cream scoops is like $12 only :D And one scoop of ice cream is on average $6 They not so recently rennovated and changed the light inside and sorry but I think the light shape kinda weird and also like reduces the cozy cafe vibe because its LED. They are a social enterprise I think? The staff are always so nice and theres plenty of seating even on weekends, best time to come would be like weekday evening imo. Pls come support this cafe I dont want them to close down 😭
naddyi went there a while back. my boyfriend ordered the maple waffle with a scoop of ice cream the colour was identical to paddle pop but i can’t remember the exact flavour while i got the churros waffle with a scoop of cereal milk ice cream. surprisingly his waffle was plain yet it was the best thing we ate there. unfortunately the ice cream completely ruined it it tasted like burnt plastic almost chemical. mine wasn’t any better. the cereal milk ice cream tasted like cereal soaked in water and then frozen. both ice creams were genuinely awful. and don’t even get me started on the churros waffle. it was disgusting. they literally just coated the waffle in cinnamon which only made my mouth dry. since when does sprinkling cinnamon turn something into churros make it make sense. the ambience was nice and the staff were very friendly but tac seriously needs to work on the quality of their food.
