The staff at this outlet was extremely rude and had a poor attitude. I asked for some extra sour cream, and the staff member responded with a loud "Huh?" before giving me only a tiny amount. I frequent Soup Spoon and have never experienced this at any other outlet. They usually provide the extra sour cream in a separate disposable cup without any issue. In addition, I witnessed the staff expecting a delivery rider to already know their internal packing procedures. When the rider asked a question about the food, the staff replied in a dismissive tone, saying that's how they do it. The rider explained that he wouldn't know because he doesn't work for Soup Spoon, to which the staff responded, "Now you know." I found that comment unnecessary and unprofessional. There were also no clear signage for the tray return. As I was leaving, I was stopped and asked to return my tray. It was only after the staff noticed that I was heavily pregnant that she said she would do it instead. Better signage would have avoided this awkward situation altogether. Not just assumptions that customer or delivery man should know this or that. Overall, the experience at this outlet was far below the standard I've come to expect from Soup Spoon. I've always had pleasant experiences at other outlets, but this one was a huge disappointment. Given the service I experienced, I'm not surprised by the low ratings or how empty the outlet was. I won't be returning to this branch.
Ordered the 1 for 1 tomato cheese toastie set in grab. Soup was more spicy than previously (had a tummyache cuz of the spice) , not sure if it's a one off incident or they changed the recipe.. overall was still quite tasty though
Priced like a scam. Additional $0.50 on a $10 bowl of salad. for 2.5 pieces of broccoli. 2 pieces of lettuce cut up to look like it's a lot. Portions are ridiculously small. Better to eat at other salad stores.
