Nika NikaI was very surprised by the mixed reviews for this place, so I wanted to share my experience to help balance some of the more extreme opinions :-) I’ve been a regular customer here for several years, and it has consistently been one of my go-to spots. I love soups, and the variety offered is great, both in terms of selection and quality. Everything I’ve tried has been satisfying and comforting. One thing that really stands out is the staff. They’ve been around for a long time and don’t seem to change much, which gives the place a familiar, welcoming feel. They even remember your preferences, which makes each visit more personal. Compared to other outlets of Soup Spoon, I’ve noticed that this particular location is always very clean. The staff regularly disinfect tables and seats. The venue itself is also nice, I especially like the bright, large windows. This place has become my comfort food spot, and I keep coming back for a reason :-)
GraceMiserable portions which are totally unacceptable given that they had recently increased prices. You can see that the amount of ingredients in the soup is less than half a bowl!? And this was the large bowl, mind you.
JAO JAOUpdate on 06 Nov: I tried the Spicy Chicken Quesadilla at the Soup Spoon, and it was fantastic! The quesadilla had a perfectly crispy shell that added a nice crunch to each bite. The chicken was well-seasoned with a subtle spice that wasn’t overwhelming but had just enough kick. The salsa on the side was fresh and flavorful, adding a delicious tanginess that complemented the dish really well. Overall, a tasty and satisfying choice for a quick meal! The Mala Kimchi soup was well-balanced, with the right level of spiciness and tanginess. The portion size was generous, and the price felt reasonable for the quality. Service was quick, making it a great spot for a fast yet satisfying meal.
