les wongVery disappointed with the Italian midsummer beef stew. It’s just too spicy, nothing Italian at all. It’s only suitable for local palette who likes spicy. I don’t think Europeans or foreigners likes spicy soup. Doesn’t taste authentic unless you desperately want to give a local singaporean spicy spin. I have always been a fan of soup spoon in the past. I always patronize for its comforting soups. Previously there will be a tagging of spicy icon on spicy soups which I would definitely avoid. I don’t know why this one passed their QA. I must say the auntie is very nice, good service from her. The only saving grace of my visit. Hope they tag products properly in the future
Alyasyafwam HalimMy husband has been hyping this place for more than a year to me and THAT MAN JUST KNEW WHAT I LIKE ❤️ If you’re into soup this is the place you need to try cause the variety is impeccable 🤌🏻 We ordered 3 types of soup: 🆗 3.8/5 - Boston clam chowder (I don’t know why I ordered this but my husband helped to finish it but it is edible) ⭐️ 4.2/5 - Beef ghoulash (NEED TO INTENSIFIES THE GHOULASH) 🌟 4.9/5 - Velvety mushroom stroganoff (PERFECT) The soup gave me the taste of comfort and home and it brings me back to a cafe called Backofen in Malaysia. It has closed down post-covid and we haven’t found its replacement. But the stroganoff brings back the memories and glad that I finally get to eat at a place that my husband been raving. Oh and please get the fluffy bread and try out the salad!
ミ๏v๏彡lynnVery impressed with the $8.90 value meal! The Caesar salad was flavourful, and great value. The staff today (22 May, evening) were also absolutely delightful! I’d definitely consider patronising this soup spoon outlet for a quick and hearty meal again.
