Cafe is quite empty at 8pm. Samyetang my version is delicious have taste of ginseng flavorful yet not too heavy. The bun is toasted warm and soft chewy delicious. Also tried their sweet set with warm cranberry almond sourdough muffin and a chocolate drink - also tasted great. Good dining place for healthy delicious food.
AIRPLANE FOOD TASTES BETTER!!! And , that’s an insult to economy-class meals. I ordered through Foodpanda, and although it was picked up fast by the rider, it still took a while to arrive. But really, the delivery time was the least of this place's problems. I ordered the "2 for $24" bundle (which they hilariously claim is originally $48). Let me be clear: for $24, I could have gotten WAY better food (Kaisendon + miso soup + drink) almost anywhere else. Instead, I got swindled. Let’s break down this disaster of a meal: Bulgogi Flatbread: They claim this tiny half-sandwich is originally $8.70? What a joke. The meat was aggressively salty, while the bread was an absolute textural nightmare - all the sauces were spilled and 1 of the sandwich came almost unassembled. The Soups: The pumpkin soup was just "mehhh," but the Tomato Basil soup was downright insulting. It was so watered down it tasted like they stretched it with tap water to save a few cents. The buns that came with it were soggy on the bottom, super dry on the inside, and completely tasteless. The Creamed Spinach (The Biggest Offense): WHAT A RIP-OFF! We paid almost $4 for this side, and it arrived in a literal CONDIMENT CONTAINER - even macdonalds gives more free ketchup packets than my paid soggy leaves. The portion size is a far cry from what was advertised in the picture. It is absolutely pathetic. The only saving grace of this entire order was the iced teas. It is a sad day when the pre-made drinks are the culinary highlight of your meal. See the attached pictures and judge for yourselves. This is hands down the worst takeout I have ever ordered. Save your money and avoid this overpriced non-airplane food!
Came here after dinner because I was craving something light and comforting, so soup felt like the perfect choice. I went for my usual go to, the tomato soup. I like it because it’s not too heavy, has a slight tanginess, and comes with a mild spicy kick that makes it quite comforting without being overwhelming. It tastes just like the tomato soup at other Soup Spoon branches, which I guess is a good thing if you’re looking for consistency. Nothing surprising, but it hits the spot when you just want a simple, warm bowl of soup.
