Literally salivating like the gemuk I am thinking about the meal we had here. Pictures should speak for themselves. Soft, tender, delicious beef ribs. The Burnt Ends were to die for. Mac and Cheese cooked to perfection (YES with real cheese and ALL the flavour). The baked potato was soft and buttery and BEAUTIFUL. And the SWEET CORN COB? Oh my god. SO delicious and sweet and juicy. Love LOVE LOVE. Customer service was fantastic too! Everyone was funny, super helpful, and nice. The other diners around us were so friendly too. I really like the whole kampung vibe of this entire food village. Just take note: it is on the super pricey side. Also a little bit hot and very smoky as it's all only outdoor seating. But, worth a try at least once in your life. Promise it's worth it.

Without a doubt, the best brisket I’ve ever had—period. The brisket at The Smok House honestly surpasses anything I’ve had anywhere else, including the US. It’s melt-in-your-mouth tender, and I genuinely don’t know what kind of sorcery they use to smoke something for so long while still keeping it this moist and juicy. You can really taste the quality of the meat (wagyu beef), paired with absolutely spot-on technique. I usually associate brisket with being tender but slightly dry at times—but that’s not the case here at all. Every bite is incredibly moist, with a beautiful, jelly-like layer of fat that enhances the texture rather than overwhelming it. Best part for me: zero gaminess. I have a pretty low tolerance for gamey flavours, especially in fatty cuts, but this place completely changed that for me. Even the burnt ends—despite being richer and fattier—had absolutely no gaminess. The BBQ sauce was also perfectly balanced, and I highly recommend getting extra buns to go with everything. On top of the food, the service was warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, I’d rate this place a solid 9/10 and will definitely be coming back.

I never knew there was Texas BBQ in Singapore so this is God-send. Came here with my family of 4 for iftar and we ordered: 1. Rack of Lamb (~600g) 2. Sampler platter (wagyu + burnt ends) w/ mac & cheese 3. Short Ribs (1bone) The meat was very, very, VERY tender. The type to fall off the bone just by picking it up, and a light pinch to get a portion of meat for yourself. We weren't able to finish everything, so we had to bring some home. Usually, I'm not a big fan of fat due to the texture, but the wagyu brisket didn't have that issue. The fat was basically melted, so it didn't have that jelly texture I personally dislike - and it carried so much flavour. Everything else was just as great, with many compliments from my family. Service was wonderful. The crew was very chill and sweet, explaining and answering any enquiries with patience. Big props to all of them. Love y'all.
