Food was good but the popular food such as the steak meat was not frequently top up. Only managed to get 1 serving and didn't get to see it ever again.. the chocolate fondue was also not turned on for some reason. I had to turn it on myself. Coffee was also quite diluted and didn't appear like what was shown in the machine. The service here is quite bad. When I first came in, there were 2 staff talking with each other at the entrance. Considering they didn't even look at me, I actually thought they were just 2 customers talking near the entrance. I had to go up to them for them to notice me. Payment was done before eating in which they didn't give me the receipt (only realized after I sat down). When I went to the counter to ask them, guess what? There were talking with each other again!! This is extremely unprofessional. Even if they were talking about work, they still have to appear approachable and vigilant enough to see that I was approaching them. I must not need to interject their conversation everytime for them to notice me. For the seating, I had to seat outside as inside already full.. for some reason, the staff just allow the random bird to keep on flying around the outdoor area where it keeps on flying between us and landing on the table of the diners. It also flew at my table, landing it's dirty feet at some of the utensils!! Also, I had to literally stand and be the bodyguard for one of the table that has few plate of food (the people were inside getting more food I guess) as the bird was literally trying to steal it. Why am I doing the job of the staff!?!?! The floor of the outdoor seating also had quite a number of trash like used glove and tissue. It really doesn't look like a seating area of a restaurant in a hotel. For this environment, really not worth the money.

Within the Village Bugis Hotel, this restaurant serves up a good variety of Asian Indian cuisine, seafood, and desserts. The staff is friendly and prompt at removing any used plate so that guests get a refill from the buffet spread. They added pizza, pasta, and satay to the mix for more variety, and even a fresh salad spread to balance it off. It is tboughtful that plastic gloves are provided so that guests can dig into crab and prawns without getting their fingers dirty. The chocolate fountain got a little unruly and splattered chocolate all around, but was cleaned up quickly by the staff. The restaurant got a little chilly maybe it was a cooler day when we visited. Otherwise, a decent buffet spread.

Lovely place for a family gathering! Great variety of good food and we even got to DIY our own celebration 😛 Staff were all hardworking and courteous. Will definitely come back again (very worth it for senior citizens)
