Chicken breast was pretty alright. Liked their spinach sauce — quite tasty and went well with the meat. Sausage was sad thou. Shouldn't had order that. Service-wise... what service? 👎 Asked for some chilli and the staff told me, "Please take it yourself from the counter." Looked around and there were only 3 other tables occupied. If it was peak hour and they were swamped, I can understand. But there wasn't even a crowd. So up I went to get whatever I needed. Oh well, made do with it. Can't remember if there was a service charge... there better not be. 😅
The experience was rather unsatisfactory, especially considering the price point. While it's understandable that sharing a long table is necessary during lunchtime, it was surprising to find that even the small cutlery tray was a communal item as well. We ordered the sausage with the expectation of a German-style sausage, but it turned out to be quite different from what we anticipated. Potential diners should be aware of this distinction, especially since it was even more expensive than the chicken breast. The beef was notably chewy and did not meet expectations for quality. In contrast, the chicken breast was acceptable and met a standard level of quality. Regarding the side dishes, the fries were served cold and became quite soggy due to contact with the beef's juices. Finally, the truffle pasta could have benefited from a more pronounced flavor profile. Would not come here again...
The service was amazing, and my meal arrived quickly. The steak was delicious, and I left very satisfied. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend this place!
