The Food Inn is located at the corner just outside Yew Tee MRT station, sharing space with a fruit shop. There is a cher cha but I guess it only opens later. I visited in the morning and it was always closed. There is one stall open in the morning, selling chicken rice and misc vegetable dishes. There are beehoon and some simple breakfast dish but I always eat the chicken rice. It’s quite tasty, and I like the sour/salty vegetable that comes with it. The younger lady is friendly, and the soup is nice as well. The auntie who is cleaning the table is also friendly. I don’t know why this place has a low rating. My few times experience eating there were nice, but I only go in the morning. There a decent amount chairs, and although the place only uses natural ventilation, it’s comfy enough.

Since the food's cheap, you can't really expect top-notch quality or service. Honestly, it's not a great spot to just hang out. It's more for a quick, cheap bite. There are flies all over the place, so it's definitely not super clean.

Is the a hidden food gem? 1 ) Cost - affordable. With many F&B outlets inflated food price. It is getting harder to eat like Fried Kway Teow that is able to see at $3.50 2) Taste - Delicious. I bought a stir-fried white bee hoon. It is well cooked mixed with slice veg & egg. Top up with ladies' fingers (sumptuous amount) + fried chicken wing. Cost : $4.40 3) Portion : Worthy I will return to try their Fried Kway Teow one day.
