Patricia YeoI was pleasantly surprised by my recent visit to Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf at IMM. Following the renovation, the outlet now offers plenty of seating with a lovely alfresco-style concept right inside Singapore’s largest outlet mall. Despite visiting on a weekday afternoon between lunch and dinner hours, the café was already about 90% full. What stood out most was how well the team managed the busy crowd. The young staff member handling hygiene and kitchen duties was incredibly hardworking and proactive, promptly clearing and sanitising tables whenever diners left. His initiative made it easy for customers to find seats and created a much more pleasant dining experience. I’m impressed that the outlet runs so smoothly with just a three-person team. Manager Tasha remained calm and focused throughout, efficiently preparing the bulk of the drinks at remarkable speed. She also helped with the cashier whenever needed. Meanwhile, the other staff member handled the cashier duties seamlessly while assisting with drink preparation whenever possible. There’s also a great ongoing soccer season promotion: two regular-sized pizzas and two iced Americanos for just $28. Considering that a single regular pizza from US Pizza costs around $18 after discounts and is slightly smaller, this is excellent value. Their pizza is surprisingly flavorful and addictive. And of course, CBTL’s Dark Chocolate Ice Blended still remains my all-time favourite.
Luri BalluriVisited The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf recently and while the drinks were fine, we were quite disappointed with the pricing. Compared to many other coffee shops and kiosks, the prices felt surprisingly high. One Americano was around SGD 6, and even a bottled water was SGD 3.80, which honestly felt expensive for something so basic. We understand every place has its own pricing, but it still came as a surprise compared with other options around Singapore. Overall, the experience was okay, but the prices did not feel very reasonable to us. We left feeling a bit disappointed.
Vigia GodwinShokupan club SW - Tasteless. Need to Improve. Black Coffee good. Hot Dark choc tastes like Hot Milo. Overall food need to be Improve. It would be good IF counter staff can recommend customers about your products or promote. Environment excellent.
