muhd aimanhad a bad experience today at this outlet specifically. while i was studying during my time there, i couldnt help but to be disturbed by the actions of a staff named aezri(? from what i rmb) who was acting very rude to his own staff and some customers. it could be heard clearly that he was “scolding” (i assume) a new staff at the counter. while i was observing him, he also started teaching the new staff in a very rude and condescending manner which i felt isnt appropriate in any workplace especially in the visible eyes of the patrons. i could tell that he was rather frustrated and started taking orders from customers with an attitude. for example, a student wanted to get the discounted drink and the student was abt to pay using his card, until he realised that the drink wasn’t discounted which was when he asked the staff why it wasnt dscounted. he replied with “as u can see from the terms and conditions, u have to use the app to pay”. to me, that was rather rude and could be phrased in a much better way. overall, very disappointed with my experience today, havent had such issues in any other outlets before.
Ananya ShahiI'm an NUS student and have been here in the University for the past 5 years, since my phone settings are to a different country (I have tried changing it before) I'm not able to install the NUS student app for the discount. I'm super annoyed and feel like discounts and other stuff never "actually" applies to international students but only locals. earlier they would still give the discount if I had my student card with me, I also tried installing the app in front of them and showed that due to location differences, the app wasn't in the app store, I don't understand why I don't get discounted prices after paying NUS tuition :(
Tingan Yutried the student meal (pizza + matcha latte). drinks arrived fast but pizza took 35 minutes to come. even after coming the pizza was not even hot and the dough felt like it was undercooked (really soft dough). very unsatisfied.
