a small texas chicken outlet in a quaint toa payoh neighbourhood. the chicken is juicy and hot. full of flavour and crunch. staff are efficient and nice. disposable gloves provided! toilet is small but functional. only one small sink to wash hands. they dont have ice in this outlet btw hahaha
I have always enjoyed dining at Texas and have been a regular customer. This was my first visit to this particular branch, as I usually frequent the Novena or Orchard outlets. However, the Novena branch has since closed. I placed my order at 14:46:49 and took a seat while waiting for my food to be served. At that time, there were no other customers in the outlet. After waiting for some time, at approximately 15:00, another customer approached the counter and was served her order immediately. I then went to the counter to enquire why her order was served before mine. The staff member on duty, Jan, informed me that she did not see me. When I asked whether my order had been noticed, she replied that she was preparing it and walked away without offering any further explanation or apology. Aside my order took around 25 mins to prepared without others dine in This experience completely spoiled my lunch, and regrettably, will not visit this branch again. I hope this feedback will be taken seriously and used to improve service standards and the overall customer experience.
The take away is upstairs. Accessible via stairs at the corner, beside a road. There's Dine in tables available. It's next a pasta mania too. Quite difficult to find. Don't bother with the website online order. It doesn't work!!
