Jonathan OhWas having dinner here with my son. Staff gave me spicy chicken instead of original. Took a big bite then realised it was very spicy. Brought back to the counter and the staff named Keverica (hope i spelt correctly) immediately apologised and change the chicken for me. Took the chicken back and while eating halfway awhile Keverica came with a cup of iced water and gave it to me saying just in case the chicken just now was too spicy. I was shocked by the kind gesture. After my meal my son went to take a serviette and she asked him if I was ok after the meal. She went above and beyond. Service recovery is excellent. Thank you Keverica and sorry if I got your name wrong.

Julius TanThis outlet was less than satisfactory. The spicy chicken tenders were quite tough, and the fried chicken overall wasn’t very impressive; Texas really needs to step up its fried chicken game. The Mexicana burger was alright, just decent but better than the fried chicken or tenders. The chicken rice smells fragrant but could do with a little salt to cure its blandness. The only positives were that the honey butter biscuit here was slightly better than at other outlets, though still far from how it used to be when Texas first re-entered Singapore, and that this outlet is noticeably more spacious and less crowded than the NEX branch.
