  2 Apr 2026 Does people post review only when they dislike the service or food? I’m surprised at what I saw. I know Texas Chicken exists near Westmall for quite awhile but never get to try until lately. My first visit was 31 Mar 2026 and then 2 April 2026. I read the reviews and realised the service staff I have been seeing is called Dustin. He’s friendly and helpful. On both days, I ordered the ‘1-for-1 Combo’ available on weekdays 11am to 5pm for $10.50. The set includes 2-pcs Chicken, a burger, 2 sides - no-top up for fries, coleslaw and mashed potatoes, and 2 drinks. I think the food is much better than the common fast food chains at a competitive pricing and portion. I just think I discovered Texas Chicken too late. It’s so good and I don’t think they deserve a bad review. I don’t want to see them disappear from Bukit Batok too. First photo : My second visit when I brought my spouse.   Our first time dining here. This place is secluded and suitable for a small family to dine in. I don't need to say much because most of the other reviewers reflected the same thing.. I only gave 2 stars because Chef Bob Ayam Percik is flavourful, but the rest of the food we ordered is flat-out tasteless. We ordered the tea but were not given the sugar, the packet milk, and the stirrer. Simple things like this reflect the staff’s lower standard of customer service. We had our Texas Chicken at Causeway Point before, and in my opinion, they are much better with their service. It's a disappointment for our first visit as we are unsatisfied with the food served and the service. For sure we would not be coming back again.

  Absolutely unacceptable experience at this outlet. The service standards displayed by the staff, especially on Saturday mornings are shockingly poor and completely unprofessional. Staff were openly rude, hostile, and speaking to customers in a scolding, demanding tone as though customers were inconveniencing them simply by being there. Instead of providing basic customer service, certain staff members were shouting instructions at customers, displaying obvious irritation, and behaving aggressively with zero courtesy or respect. The atmosphere felt chaotic, uncomfortable, and incredibly unwelcoming. No customer should ever be treated with such arrogance and hostility. What was most appalling was the staff’s attitude, dismissive, confrontational, and utterly lacking in professionalism. Rather than helping customers, they appeared more interested in chatting amongst themselves while customers were left waiting and being spoken to rudely. It genuinely felt like customers were being ordered around instead of served. To make matters worse, formal complaints were already submitted to management previously, yet they appear to have been completely ignored with no meaningful follow-up, accountability, or improvement. This sends the message that such rude and hostile behaviour by staff is being tolerated or overlooked by the company itself.
