I think your rating of the place will highly depend on what you order here. We ordered the chop chop Hokkien mee and the turkey bacon carbonara pasta. The hokkien mee took a while to come for some reason, but it was a very satisfying and filling dish for the price of $9.90. However, the carbonara pasta wasn’t bad, but for the price point of $11.90 the portion was meh. On its own though, it still tasted nice and flavourful. If i were to return, I’d try the Hokkien mee again!
Food isn't a splendor though adequately good quality and serving portion is sufficient. Staffs are attentive to clear away dishes and cutlery when done, making way for other food to be consumed. Of the 6 items I enjoyed, chendol was kind of disappointing though. There wasnt much red bean which seems to hv lost punch to this local favourite dessert.
Skip the fried mushroom (pasar malam had better taste), look also don’t look appetizing. Skip the baked rice.. It’s just rice with some sauce on top and spread with some mushroom before covered with cheese to bake. Chicken wing is crispy but the taste is 🫳🏻🫳🏻. Spaghetti are 👍🏻. It’s self-service place.
