KZ SeetThe food was tasty and satisfying, with decent portions and a good variety of options to choose from. What I enjoyed most was the relaxed atmosphere and scenic park surroundings. The seating area was comfortable for a casual meal or snack break. A nice spot to rest and enjoy some food while visiting Sengkang Riverside Park!
Jas KohThere was nobody eating around 1pm+ and staff gave us an extra menu when my partner and I sat down. Inside the menu, it was full of ants crawling on the spine. We ordered the turkey bacon aglio olio, potato salad, bbq chicken brioche burger which came with truffle fries, set A and set B. The mushroom soup had a very strong onion taste which was nice. The aglio olio was slightly spicy, but very normal. The potato salad was amazing. The potatoes still had some texture to them while being doused in the creamy mayo sauce. The burger was drizzled with bbq sauce and was crispy, topped with a fried egg. The burger was alright, but the truffle fries made it better. The bandung was also slightly too sweet for my taste T watermelon mojito was sour and salty, with a hint of artificial watermelon flavouring. We sat next to 2 people talking and since there was nobody else around, their conversation was extremely loud and heard very clearly by the entire room. There is also a self-serve bar for cutlery, seasonings, kids’ utensils and even takeaway containers and plastic bags. Service was lacking, albeit there were only 4 staff there. It took a bit for the staff to come to the register to order, but the food came out super quick.
Yap Hoe BENG4/12/25, surprisingly the food was good. My colleague suggest this place as we were working around Sengkang area. The place set over the Sengkang garden with indoor / outdoor dining. It is more like a fast food chain except there r plenty of variety options to choose from the menu. We decide on the lunch menu (they have breakfast too). Order a Teriyaki chicken chop sedap Lemak and a crispy chicken sedap Lemak both slightly over 10 dollars with 3 dollars earl tea to go along. My teriyaki was very good, chicken tender and the chilli with rice was great. Service was fast and can top up your tea, place was ok. Good place to eat relax and talk. Recommend.
