Checked out the newly opened Tenderbest stall at the Kimly coffee shop along Clementi West Street 2. It’s part of the fresh batch of stalls in this 24-hour kopitiam, and being a popular name in Singapore, I had to try their signature fried chicken. The coffee shop was packed, so I went for takeaway and ordered the 3-piece chicken set. The fried chicken was spot on—crispy skin, juicy meat, and not oily at all. Really enjoyable. The coleslaw was creamy and refreshing, a nice contrast to the fried food. The only letdown was the fries—they were pretty average and lacked crispness. At $9.90 for the set, it’s slightly on the pricey side for a coffee shop meal, but the quality of the chicken somewhat justifies it. A solid pick if you’re craving fried chicken in the west.
Ordered chicken cutlet aglio olio for take away and collected $10.50 from me. But when I reached home, realised that they gave me chicken cutlet fries instead. Price difference of $2-$3. Disappointing.
Short of coleslaw and French fries for my order id (A-8USFM5DWW2D9AV). Cannot leave any feedback at the Grab platform. Can sent it to me again ???
