Ordered the chicken tom yum and green curry chicken soup set. Garnishes were… minimal, but forgivable. The green curry offered a modest sprinkling of shredded chicken, while the tom yum bravely presented a single, lone strand (see picture 3). At $17.80, it was less of a chicken dish and more of a “chicken cameo.” If supplies run low, maybe just mark the item unavailable—your diners will appreciate the honesty.
The food was not bad. I especially liked their green chicken curry. The flavor was rich, and the curry was thick and creamy. It didn’t taste like the usual watery or artificial ones, it had a real, authentic taste. I enjoyed it and would be happy to come back again to try other dishes too.
I really think it’s very hard to go wrong with Thai food but I was proven wrong. Judging by the reviews and critics, I think they definitely got it right. I ordered the chicken basil with rice set that comes with a Thai milk tea. The tea was decent but the food was terrible. The food has been precooked, so they just scooped it up onto a plate upon order. There’s not even a hint of basil or chili in the dish. The meat is overly sweetened and lacked savouriness. It’s just a very sad plate of food.
