Wishva WidanagamageDined at Takara Grilled Seafood at Newton Food Centre and ordered the fried baby squid (medium), mussels (medium), and a large fried rice for 51 SGD. While the price felt a bit high for a hawker setting, the portions were generous and most of the food was tasty. The mussels, however, had a slightly raw taste. On the positive side, the service was friendly and efficient, and they provided cutlery and serviettes, a thoughtful touch that's quite rare in Singapore hawker stalls. Overall, a unique and satisfying experience.
Kyi Phyu ThantThe staff was very rude..especially the older uncle. Because of the rain, a few of us shared a table near their stall. They sat right in front of me without asking and pushed their tissues across the table until they touched my plate. When I first sat down, the table was empty and others were just eating.
