I ordered a sandwich and coffee and asked the lady at the counter to make the coffee extra hot. The coffee was barely hot, and before I could even sit at the table, it was already out on the tray as if it had been made earlier. The quality was so poor and hidden under a thick froth that one would not be able to see it. The sandwich was suggested to me by the lady at the counter. When I checked it, the avocado was brown and mushy, and the cheese was half dried. I paid $18 when there is a promotion going on for a $9 lunch with a choice of beverage.
Ordered the $9 lunch deal, the lady behind the counter was impatient and short-tempered. To give her the benefit of the doubt, maybe she was hard of hearing so had to shout. The food portion was small, and the salad was served warm, which is strange. The avocado was brown, the cherry tomatoes and cucumber were mushy, likely due to being microwaved. The atmosphere is nice and cosy though.
I like Swissbake cafe. May b its Saturday, so not so crowded and i really enjoy my coffee, quiche w side salad and a small dessert lemon cheese cake. Friendly staff and quiet clean ambience, total relaxation. Food is tasty and their display of my orders make me wanna visit again.
