⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a wonderful dining experience at Swensen's West Mall! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was cheerful and welcoming. A special shoutout to Yunyee for the excellent service. He was warm, friendly and made us feel so welcome throughout our meal. His attentiveness and positive attitude really made the experience even more enjoyable. Great food, great service and a happy atmosphere. We'll definitely be back! 😊
Had a wonderful family dinner at Swensen’s! The food was served hot, fresh, and in generous portions. The fried chicken was crispy on the outside while remaining juicy and tender inside. The fish and chips were nicely cooked with a light, crunchy batter, and the fries were perfectly golden. Of course, no visit to Swensen’s is complete without dessert. We enjoyed the Earthquake sundae and a birthday ice cream sundae with three scoops of ice cream, topped with cherries, nuts, and a candle. Everything was rich, creamy, and delicious—the perfect ending to our meal. The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was comfortable and family-friendly, and the staff were attentive and welcoming throughout our visit. Great value for money, especially for families looking for a satisfying meal with fantastic desserts. We’ll definitely be back for another meal. Highly recommended!
Absolutely ridiculous experience. I ordered a waffle with ice cream that cost almost $10. It was literally just a plain waffle and a scoop of ice cream with no drizzle, no toppings, nothing special at all. Yet it took around 20 minutes to prepare. How does something that simple take that long? The food wasn’t even worth the wait. It looked average, tasted average, and the presentation was honestly disappointing. For the same price, I can get a much better waffle elsewhere. What made the experience even worse was the service. A waitress came to our table and asked if we wanted the ice cream first since there were three of us. Naturally, we thought she meant she was serving the part that was ready and that the waffle would be coming shortly after. Instead, she served us a scoop of ice cream by itself. When we asked what it was for, she casually said, “It’s for the waffle with ice cream.” Seriously? Why would anyone order a waffle with ice cream just to sit there eating the ice cream on its own while waiting another 20 minutes for the waffle? It makes absolutely no sense. If the waffle wasn’t ready, then serve the dessert together as it was ordered. The communication was terrible, and no one even bothered to explain why the wait was so long. The worst part is this is Swensen’s. It’s a restaurant, not some random dessert stall, so I expected a certain standard. Instead, I got slow service, average food, poor presentation, and staff who couldn’t communicate properly. Paying almost $10 for such a basic dessert and receiving this level of service is honestly unacceptable. I definitely won’t be coming back to this outlet, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
