Came to celebrate the birthday of our friend in the afternoon on a Friday. Caught the Swenson Senior Special promotion (1-for-1/ from 1430h-1620h). No crowd. Ordered the Chicken in the Basket & Seafood pasta with banana splits & firehouse ice creams. Food were deliciously cooked (except pasta was a tad too salty). Ice creams were good as usual. Really value for money! Manager Audrey was most helpful and friendly. Assisted us in ordering via the App and getting the complimentary drinks (for members). 5⭐️ services 👏🏼👏🏼
Excellent service. The staff members were attentive and quick to explain their membership promos' T&Cs, as well as inform us of additional perks and promos we can redeem! Went on my birthday for their Complimentary Sundae, which can be redeemed 1x for every day of your birthday month 😲! We got the Goreng Pisang Split and I ordered the Mega Burger as my a la carte main. Burger was big, beef patty thick and juicy, and it's halal if you need to know (chicken and turkey bacon, fried egg, a lot of grilled veg including eggplant!) Portion was great for $21+ (for the whole set with coleslaw and fries, incl. GST and Service Charge) My friend got the Salmon Baked Rice ($20.11 incl. GST, SC) — not shown. It was good but the portion much smaller and the cheese not incorporated into the rice itself (only as a layer on top, same as most reviewers remarked too) Swensen's should consider expanding their menu line of burgers, now that they have new offerings like the UFO burgers etc. They do well at the big burgers, at first impression. Northpoint outlet is good. Better than Sun Plaza, maybe? Went on a weekday though, so maybe that's why service was more attentive.
I honestly don’t know how this happened… what started as a simple “eat and collect stamps” situation somehow turned into a full-blown relationship with Swensen’s 😂 We’ve been here more than 5 times already (and counting), and every visit just gets better. At first it was all about the rewards program — you know, collect stamps, get perks — but suddenly we realised… wait… we actually LOVE coming here. The promotions?? Insane. I don’t even remember the last time we paid for drinks because it feels like they’re free every time we come 😅 Not complaining at all. Food-wise — honestly really, really good. Not the “okay lah can eat” kind — like genuinely satisfying, makes-you-want-to-come-back kind. But what really makes the experience special is the people: • Jennifer — very attentive and friendly, and she even helped make our friend’s birthday celebration extra special • Zakiah — always welcoming with a smile • Derek (manager) — really helpful. One time I wrongly redeemed my complimentary drinks and lost it, but he still helped and gave it to me. He even gave us Raya money envelopes before — such a nice touch! Service is consistently great, not just once or twice — every single time. At this point, Swensen’s is no longer just a restaurant for us… it’s a routine, a comfort place, maybe even a lifestyle 🤣
