Staff are patient and demonstrate good product knowledge, though you'll need to attract their attention to clear finished plates. Cleaning up is done leisurely. The manager is courteous and professional, and the team works smoothly during peak hours to fulfil orders quickly. Note there is a short wait for sundae creation. . Food is American and Italian cuisine. This casual dining restaurant balances comforting classics with fun seasonal items, and there's something for all ages, from breakfast to dinner. Portions are large and generous, with quality being consistently good. Prices are reasonable for weekly dining, budget about SGD $30 per person for a meal here.
Danny TanSaturday 6pm. Crowd started. 3pax. Ordered fried 3p chicken. 1 pizza 1 steak 1 cheese fries $96 in total, pricy. It was crowded and long q for ice cream so we didn’t order dessert. Swensen is all about the ice cream. The food is just so so, Ill rate it 3/5 for all cos maybe its everyday food im ordering, where else where will do it similarly good or better. Will pizza hut does better than swensen pizza? Hows aston or jacks place steak be diff from swensen steak? Arnold and swensen fc would taste near similar, freshly fried. Service is very fast. Deco is cosy and nice. Ill look else where for the hot food unfortunately.
Jov JovDecided to catch my late dinner there. Service: The manager was a nice patient guy who answered my app queries even though he's busy mostly. Polite too. Noticed he's trilingual when he communicated in mandarin with his staff. Definitely a plus point for non-English speaking elderly diners => 4.5* The short female waitress always acknowledged my few occasions of thanks with brief smiling nods (4.1*) unlike the other tall chinese waiter who didn't bother to respond when I thanked him (2.5*) Gave him benefit of doubt that he might be exhausted at work. Food: Baked rice (3.6*) was slightly burnt. Realised the chicken & potato chunks and rice portion were lesser than other branches. Gravy differed as well. Yet I finished everything as I was too hungry. Fortunately the dessert (4.7*) was something I looked forward to. Instruction was followed ...... no whipped cream 👍🏼 Atmosphere: Clean and tidy. Just that it was rather warm ...... in fact to be specific ...... it's hot. Would be a better dining experience if the restaurant can be cooler. (3.6*)
