Julius TanThe traditional butter cake is quite decent. There aren’t many bakery options in this mall, so we usually end up buying from Swee Heng. Their bread and pastries are acceptable, though nothing particularly memorable. As for the service, I personally haven’t encountered any rude staff despite some of the reviews mentioning otherwise.
Inez LeeStaff were friendly and polite. I was looking for bread with a gummy heavy texture akin to sourdough and a young man gave me many recommendations - shows that he noes his bread. Lol. Also appreciate the recent new additions n flavours.
Ren SI visited Swee Heng at Sengkang Grand Mall on 30/11 around 12pm, and I was really impressed by the service from a young male staff member (I didn’t manage to get his name). Out of all the times I’ve visited Swee Heng, none of the staff compare to him. He was incredibly meticulous and careful — he packed the breads neatly and placed them gently in the bag, something I’ve never seen done with so much attention to detail. Even with his mask on, you could feel his sincerity and friendliness. Truly a hardworking and outstanding staff member. Honestly, the best staff I’ve ever encountered there. Amazing service and such a pleasant experience!
