LTried a muffin and a kouign amann here and I was quite impressed by how good both were, especially as the price was quite good. The muffin is v moist and has a nice aroma. It is sweet of course but I thought not too much. The amann was rly rich, crispy and buttery. Great snack. Recommended.
ADPaid for "Taiwan Red Bean Shio Pan," but the red bean filling must be hiding. Before trying to position yourselves as a premium bakery, please focus on improving the quality of your food. I’d rather spend $2.60 at BreadTalk for a wholesome red bean shio pan.
Gem caiStaff are very efficient as there is almost always a long line of customers. There also keep the area clean but sweeping the shelves, chasing away any flies or brushing crumbs away, not easy for a bakery that churns out so many varieties of breads and cakes. I also love that they will periodically have new items to try. The chocolate cake ganache is one of them. I thought it was a brownie base but turn out to be more like a fluffy chocolate cake. It was nice and moist though. They have these small $2 portions which was just the right amount for me since the cake was rather sweet.
