Sheryl LeeThe customer service of the staff members here are generally barely passable, today’s experience was an extreme one so I felt that I had to put a review here. 26/12/2025 at around 12:30-12:40pm, we stopped by to get some bread, and my mum picked up a pandan cake as well. She simply asked this Malay lady in a tudung if they still cut the cakes (they do that in the past, not sure if it’s a change of policy or it’s just that the staff members are lazy) , she replied to my mum, visibly annoyed, not sure what for. She also gave my mum a side eye, what was she so rude for, I’m not sure.
Zainab YusofI actually love the buns and cakes at Swee Heng. The cakes are not to overly sweeten. Unfortunately there's always flies around. Would be great if they could plastic wrap all the buns and pastries. Not great for the environment but i would have a peace of mind eating knowing no Flies had a stop at the bun i'm eating. Its not store fault but since its near the market and restroom it cant be help. But overall the staff are always friendly and nice!
